Information associated with website use
When you contact us
The website has no contact form. If you email contact@stacksystems.ro, we process your email address, message and any other information you choose to provide to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, discuss a possible business relationship. Depending on the enquiry, the legal basis may be taking steps at your request before entering into a contract or our legitimate interest in handling professional correspondence.
When you choose cookie preferences
Your browser stores your analytics preference locally so that we can respect your choice. Details of the technologies used and how to change your preferences are provided in the Cookie policy.
When you visit the website
Your browser exchanges technical information with the hosting server to deliver pages and protect the service. This may include your IP address, request time and technical details about the connection. Such processing supports the operation and security of the website.
Google Analytics, only if you choose
After consent, alongside the events configured by the website, GA4 may generate standard technical session, first-visit and engagement events. These are described in Google's automatically collected events documentation.
Google Analytics 4 is configured on the website for optional analytics. The consent mechanism keeps analytics disabled by default and allows the Google script to load only after explicit acceptance of analytics.
The legal basis for optional analytics is your consent. Under Basic Consent Mode v2, we do not load Google Analytics or send events to Google before you explicitly accept analytics. Rejecting it does not prevent you from using the website or contacting us.
After analytics consent, we use page views and predefined events to understand service-page use, quote requests and contact options. Custom parameters do not contain email addresses, messages, visitor-entered data, URL query strings or fragments, or the referring page address. Google may process analytics identifiers and technical browser and network information as part of the service.
We do not enable advertising, remarketing, Google Signals or advertising personalisation. The setup and events are described in more detail in the Cookie policy.
Providers and data processing
We use web hosting and email services provided through NAV to operate the website and contact@stacksystems.ro. To provide these services, the hosting provider may process technical information and data associated with email correspondence.
If you consent to website analytics, we use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google. Google may process analytics identifiers and technical information under its service terms. This processing may involve international data transfers subject to the safeguards and conditions applicable to Google Analytics.
Retention and withdrawing consent
We retain correspondence for as long as necessary to handle enquiries, maintain a business relationship, comply with applicable legal obligations or establish, exercise or defend legal claims, as relevant. Retention depends on the nature of the correspondence.
Technical hosting logs are managed according to the hosting provider’s configuration and policies. Data collected through Google Analytics is subject to the GA4 property’s retention settings and the service terms. Cookie lifetime is not the same as retention of analytics data.
Analytics preferences are stored locally in your browser until you change them, clear browser data or the consent mechanism version is invalidated. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through Cookie settings. Withdrawal stops future measurement but does not automatically erase information already collected by Google.
Your personal data rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, rectification or erasure of your personal data, restriction of processing and, where applicable, data portability, or object to certain processing. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
For enquiries and requests, email contact@stacksystems.ro. You may also lodge a complaint with Romania’s data protection supervisory authority, the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP).
