Your choice comes before analytics
The website and email service are hosted through NAV. Data-processing information is provided in the Privacy policy.
stacksystems.ro is operated by STACK SYSTEMS S.R.L., which is also the data controller for the optional analytics described in this policy.

Google Analytics 4 is optional. We use the Basic implementation of Google Consent Mode v2: the Google script does not load and no events are sent to Google before you explicitly accept analytics. Rejecting analytics or closing the preferences dialog without saving does not enable it.
You can accept, reject or customise your choice in the banner. This website does not use advertising or remarketing, and Google settings for advertising storage and advertising use of data remain disabled.
- Accept: allows Google Analytics and analytics cookies to load.
- Reject: keeps analytics disabled; you can continue to use the website.
- Customize: turn “Analytics cookies” on or off, then select “Save preferences”. Saving with that category unchecked rejects analytics.
What is stored in your browser
To respect your choice, the website may also use browser session storage when the preference cannot be saved in local storage.
A cookie is a small file stored in your browser. The website also uses local storage (localStorage) to remember your analytics choice. This necessary preference works separately from Google Analytics cookies.
| Name and type | Purpose | When used and how long kept |
|---|---|---|
ss_cookie_consentNecessary local storage ( localStorage) | Remembers the consent version, analytics choice and time saved. It contains no visitor identifier. | After a choice is made. Until the choice is changed, browser data is cleared or the consent mechanism version changes. No automatic expiry is configured. |
ss_cookie_consent_deniedNecessary session storage ( sessionStorage) | Records the rejection or withdrawal time if the choice cannot be saved in local storage. | Only when saving a rejection fails. Until session storage is cleared or a new explicit choice is made; no fixed number of days is configured. |
_gaGoogle analytics cookie | Helps Google Analytics distinguish website use. | Only after analytics consent. The observed expiry in the Edge test was approximately 400 days. Actual lifetime may vary with the browser and Google configuration. |
_ga_PYB2HD8NRGGoogle analytics cookie | Maintains analytics session information for the configured GA4 stream. | Only after analytics consent. The observed expiry in the Edge test was approximately 400 days. Actual lifetime may vary with the browser and Google configuration. |
The technical check on 25 October 2026 identified the two analytics cookies listed above. They are optional and are used only after analytics consent. The expiry observed in Edge is not a guaranteed duration for every browser; browser limits and Google configuration may affect it.
Cookie lifetimes may vary by browser and Google configuration. Google explains these cookies in its GA4 documentation. Cookie lifetime is different from the retention period of data already collected in Google Analytics.
In the Edge test, analytics-cookie expiry was renewed when navigating between pages with active consent. This expiry does not determine how long data is retained in the GA4 property.
What is measured after consent
Alongside the events configured by the website, after consent the GA4 library may generate standard technical events such as first_visit, session_start or user_engagement, as described in Google's automatically collected events documentation.
Google Analytics 4 is configured for optional website analytics. Its script loads only after you accept analytics; browsing, rejection or closing the settings without saving does not constitute consent.
We measure page views and interactions with quote requests, email contact links and visits to the Contact page. The implemented events are page_view, quote_request, email_contact and contact_page_view.
Parameters sent by the website implementation are limited to predefined page, language and interaction-placement information. We do not include email addresses, message contents, visitor-entered data, URL query strings or fragments, or the referring page address. After consent, Google's service also processes technical information needed for its operation, including browser and network information.
The website setup does not enable Google Signals, advertising or remarketing. ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization remain denied, including when you accept analytics.
Changing or withdrawing your choice
Use the Cookie settings link in the footer at any time to change your preference. To withdraw consent, uncheck “Analytics cookies” and select “Save preferences”, or select “Reject analytics”. Analytics is off by default and can be enabled only through an explicit action.
When consent is withdrawn, the website disables measurement, clears accessible _ga and _ga_PYB2HD8NRG cookies for its domain and paths, and reloads the page to unload the Google library from the current document. Your rejection is remembered for subsequent pages. You can also clear this website's data in your browser settings.
Withdrawal stops future collection; it does not automatically erase data already received by Google. For data questions or requests, email contact@stacksystems.ro.
If your browser prevents the choice from being stored, the preference applies to the current page and the banner may appear again during navigation. A message in the settings indicates this situation.
